The highlight of the evening will be Kurt Jooss' impressive ballet "The Green Table" (1932)—poignant and (still) very relevant today. "The Green Table" is accompanied live on two pianos.
In keeping with the new policy that seeks to promote young talent, dancer Erik Constantin had the opportunity to evolve within the company and has created a world premiere.
The evening is completed with Ton Wiggers' dashing and flamboyant "Gilles". “In the elegant and emotive "Gilles", Wiggers has completed every note and every rest of the impressive Requiem with strong jaunty movements that follow perspicuous choreographic patterns.” (De Volkskrant)
