Introdans
Introdans guarantees mindblowing modern ballet in Vuur & Vlam. For this programme, the Brazilian Gisela Rocha gets her inspiration from the Introdans dancers and creates a sizzling world première specially for the company. (Disclose) Mats Ek is known chiefly for his moving narrative ballets that feature an exceptional sense of mystery and an unmistakable dance idiom. Fireplace fits all these characteristics: a striking and emotionally affecting work that creates a special experience for the spectator! For this programme, artistic director Roel Voorintholt invited upcoming choreographer Yossi Berg to - as part of the Young talent policy - present Most of the Day I'm Out. The Israeli Berg won the prestigious Intern International Choreography Contest in Hannover (2006). For this piece he worked together with Oded Graf.
Vuur & Vlam promises to be a warm and passionate Introdans programme with world-class premières.
